3. The tolerance caused by the inconsistency between the intended contraction and the actual contraction is about 1/6. Total tolerance =(1)+(2)+(3)+(4).


Therefore, in order to reduce mold manufacturing tolerances, the processing accuracy should first be improved, and with the use of CNC machine tools, this problem has been well controlled. In addition, in order to prevent the tolerances caused by mold wear and deformation, the mould parts such as the cavity and core should be quenched when the machining accuracy is higher and the product output is larger. In the medium and large mold, in order to save materials and facilitate processing and heat treatment, the mold design should try to use the Mosaic structure.

In order to solve the tolerance caused by the uneven contraction of the molded part and the inconsistency between the predetermined contraction and the actual contraction, 1/3 of the product tolerance is generally selected in the mold manufacturing, as the manufacturing tolerance of the mold, the purpose is to leave a larger adjustment room for the later molding process to solve the tolerance caused by the molding process.

The mold is designed and processed well, and it can be used depending on the effect of the test mold. The mold test mainly determines the specific effect of the mold production products, and is also an important step to test whether the mold is qualified.
